Free Dental Checkup and Oral Health Awareness Camp Organized at GRP Line Indore

A Free Dental Checkup and Oral Health Awareness Camp was organized at the General Railway Police GRP Line premises in Indore for police officers personnel and their family members. The camp was conducted by the expert team from the Department of Public Health Dentistry Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry Indore.

During the camp comprehensive dental examinations were carried out for the attendees and expert guidance was provided on the prevention and management of dental and gum diseases. The dental specialists emphasized the importance of regular dental checkups maintaining proper oral hygiene, and adopting a balanced diet for overall oral health.

The awareness session also focused on the harmful effects of tobacco and smoking the prevention and early detection of oral cancer, and the significance of leading a healthy lifestyle. A large number of GRP personnel and their family members actively participated in the camp and benefited from the dental consultations and health education provided.

The event was attended by Mr. Hemant Chouhan Additional Superintendent of Police Railways Indore Mrs Jyoti Sharma DSP Railways Indore Mrs Poonam Sharma Police Line Indore and Mrs Varsha Gaur Subedar RRB Line Indore along with other officers and staff members.

The GRP Indore administration appreciated the social and public health-oriented initiative undertaken by Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry and expressed its interest in organizing similar health awareness and screening camps in the future.
