Sri Aurobindo University offers Ph.D. for medical postgraduates.

Medical student have combination of their clinical training with scientific research. Further training is provided within the Campus and elsewhere in the University and includes postgraduate workshops on research techniques, research seminars, and postgraduate student education seminars.

The objectives of a successful doctorate are as follows:

  • extending the limits of what is currently known through innovative and high-quality work
  • the capacity to devise, design and conduct research that has real academic weight, is targeted and shows integrity
  • systematic understanding of a subject and mastery of the skills and methods associated with this subject
  • the capacity for critical analysis, assessment and synthesis of new and complex ideas
  • the capacity to develop further the progress made in technological, social or cultural terms within an academic and professional context
  • Satisfying standards associated with national and international peer-reviewed publications

Eligibility

  • The required minimum qualification for admission to a Ph.D. Program shall normally be a two years Master’s OR M.Phil. Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field. She/he must have obtained 55% marks or Equivalent Grade in the Master’s or M.Phil. Degree (applicable for all PhD programs except in Engineering and Technology).
