Legal Aid and Awareness Camp

The Sri Aurobindo Institute of Law successfully organized a Legal Aid and Awareness Camp at Village Beganda, Tehsil Depalpur, on December 7, 2024. The camp aimed to educate residents about their legal rights and responsibilities, offer free legal consultations, and address challenges faced by underprivileged sections of the community.
The event commenced with an inaugural session graced by Prof. (Dr.) Rajiv Kumar Jain, Dean & Director, and Mr. Nagendra Chaturvedi, who emphasized the importance of legal literacy in empowering individuals and fostering justice in society.
Highlights of the Camp:

  • Nukkad Natak: Law students performed a street play on the critical topic of "Awareness of Rape Laws in India", shedding light on the significance of education and support for victims.

  • Legal Counseling: Students also provided counseling to help participants understand the judicial and police systems better.

The camp witnessed active participation from over 100 residents, including women, farmers, and local youth, reflecting its impact on the community.
This initiative marks another milestone in our commitment to serving society through legal education and awareness.
