Pulse polio campaign on 23 June 2024 at Mangilal Churiya Hospital, Nanda Nagar Zone, Indore.

The children below five years of age were covered in the first day of campaign launched at the booth. The target of administering polio drops to 5.22 lakh children in the district. In order to achieve 100% pulse polio vaccination in Indore (M.P.).
The honorable collector of Indore Shri Asheesh Singh, IAS took help from various nursing colleges to build manpower of health workers, for vaccinating the children below five years of age at various focal points in Indore city. Our B.Sc. Nursing 4th Year & B.Sc. Nursing 6th Semester students was participated in Pulse polio vaccination campaign. Total 100 students from Sri Aurobindo College of Nursing, SAU contributed in polio campaign with the mission to complete target over 5L children in Indore. The students had participated with full enthusiasm and contributed their full dedication in order to achieve 100% polio vaccination campaign in Indore city.
Pulse Polio Campaign was coordinated by the guidance of Dr. Prerna Pandey, Principal SAIMS College of Nursing, Mr. Avadhesh Sharma, HOD Community Health Nursing Department, Ms. Kavita Pal, Associate Professor, Mrs. Megha Kurmi Associate Professor, Community Health Nursing Department & Mrs. Pooja Chauhan Assistant Professor, Ms. Sneha Sullere, Ms. Surbhi Sharma & Mr. Lucky Patel B.Sc. Tutor contributed to successful this campaign.
