The Department of Palliative Medicine organized the Panel Discussion on "Withholding / Withdrawal of life support system update on the supreme court Guideline" at Sri Aurobindo University Indore on 24th Feb 2023.
In day-to-day clinical practice, Where critically ill patients may not benefit from aggressive interventions. In these situations, the family request not to attempt very aggressive treatment and wishes for symptom relief. Recently the Supreme Court laid down the directives in these situations to respect patients’ wishes.
