Nutrition Programme Highlights the Journey from Nourishment to Healing

Sri Aurobindo University, Indore through the SAIMS College of Nursing held the Nutrition Programme – Fuel to Heal to show how nutrition, health and recovery are closely linked. The programme asked students to think about nutrition more than just something people eat every day. It wanted them to see how important nutrition is for staying helping the body heal and making life better overall.

The event focused on how a good and healthy diet helps people live better. Students were asked to learn more about how the right food can help the body heal itself, make people stronger and help them get better when they are sick. The programme also helped students connect what they learn in class with life in healthcare and how to care for patients.

The event took place on 1 October 2026 at SAIMS College of Nursing. It showed how the University wants to train healthcare workers who know the value of prevention and full care. For nursing students learning about nutrition is an important part of their job. This is because every person has needs based on their health, how they are recovering and the way they live.

The programme also helped remind everyone about the job of nurses in teaching people about eating. With messages and good teaching healthcare workers can help people and their families make better choices about food and staying healthy.

Programs like Fuel to Heal help create a place where students learn more than facts. They learn to see healthcare in a way. By mixing learning, awareness and real experiences Sri Aurobindo University keeps helping to grow healthcare workers who can make communities healthier.
