Sri Aurobindo University Explores the Future of Diagnostics Through Digital Pathology
The increasing use of technology in healthcare is changing how medical information is collected, understood and passed along. Seeing this change Sri Aurobindo University through Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) and the SAIMS Tele Command Centre held a lecture on Digital Pathology with Dr. Sangeeta Desai as the speaker.
The event gave teachers, medical workers and students a chance to learn about how digital tools are becoming more important in pathology and how they fit into the way medicine is practiced today. Dr. Desai talked about how old ways of doing pathology're now being helped by digital tools making it easier to get information quickly and get help from experts who are far away and work together on diagnoses.
One main topic was slide imaging and virtual microscopy which let pathology samples be seen, studied and sent over the internet. The talk also looked at reporting showing how being connected digitally can help doctors work together no matter where they are and bring their skills to places where they might not have been before.
The talk went beyond the technology pointing out how digital pathology can make diagnosis better and help doctors make better choices. The discussion also made people think about how new digital tools can help make healthcare more connected, easier to use and more team-based.
The lecture was a place to share knowledge letting people learn about a subject that is becoming more and more important for the future of pathology and medical learning. It also showed how important it is for medical workers and students to know about the tech that is shaping the way medicine is done today.
Through events that mix knowledge, new tools and learning Sri Aurobindo University keeps pushing for a place where new ideas can lead to better ways of teaching and treating people.
The session showed an important path for the future Improving Diagnostics, Bringing Experts Together and Changing Healthcare, with Digital Ideas.
