GFATM Training Programme 2026 Successfully Conducted at BGHI College of Nursing

Sri Aurobindo University's Bhandari Group of Hospitals & Institutions (BGHI) College of Nursing successfully organized a two-day training programme on the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) on 17th and 18th August 2026.

The programme brought together 30 B.Sc. Nursing students from the GFATM 2022–23 Batch, offering them an enriching platform to deepen their understanding of global health initiatives targeting three of the world's most pressing infectious diseases - AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.

Highlights of the Programme

Over the course of two days, students engaged in comprehensive sessions combining theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on learning. The training was designed to strengthen participants' awareness of GFATM's objectives, strategies, and real-world impact in combating these diseases, while equipping them with skills relevant to their nursing practice.

Beyond academic learning, the event fostered teamwork, active engagement, and collaboration among students, making it a memorable and holistic experience for all participants.
