Pocus Workshop Strengthens Pediatric Clinical Excellence at SAIMS
The Department of Pediatrics at Sri Aurobindo Medical College and Postgraduate Institute, Indore in association with the Indian Academy of Pediatrics successfully organized the fifth edition of the Pocus workshop on 27 March 2026, focusing on Point of Care Ultrasound and Echocardiography. The workshop was led by a panel of experienced specialists including pediatric cardiologists, neonatologists and pediatric intensivists Dr Prashant Agrawal Dr Gaurav Mogra Dr Abha Jain Dr Anshul Jaiswal and Dr Ankur Joshi. The sessions provided comprehensive insights into the clinical applications of point of care ultrasound and echocardiography enhancing diagnostic and decision making skills in pediatric practice. Organized under the guidance of Dr Prashant Agrawal, the event witnessed active participation from faculty members postgraduate students and practicing pediatricians from various medical institutions across the city. The workshop created a valuable platform for academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration contributing to the advancement of pediatric healthcare standards and improved patient outcomes.
