World Kidney Day Awareness Programme
On the occasion of World Kidney Day the Department of Pediatrics organized a two day awareness programme to promote kidney health among postgraduate students patients and their families. The programme included an academic session for postgraduate students with a talk on Renal Replacement Therapy and a hands on demonstration of Peritoneal Dialysis providing valuable clinical learning and practical exposure. A patient centred session featured educational activities on kidney care dietary guidance and engaging interactions aimed at creating awareness and a supportive environment for patients and their families. The event also included an address by Dr Shraddha Goswami emphasizing the importance of early detection awareness and a collaborative approach to kidney care. Active participation from the Departments of Pediatrics Adult Nephrology and Pediatric Surgery made the programme informative and impactful.
