Participation of SAIMS Faculty and PG Students at MPASICON 2026 Indore

SAIMS marked a notable academic presence at MPASICON 2026, held in Indore from 6 to 8 February with active participation from faculty members and postgraduate students. Dr. Manoj Kela Head of General Surgery delivered a session on Liver Abscess Surgical Decision Making in the Era of Interventions emphasizing evidence based surgical practice. Dr. Mahak Bhandari demonstrated live robotic hernia repairs during the operative workshop while Dr. Advait Prakash presented on thoracoscopic management of congenital diaphragmatic hernia highlighting advancements in pediatric surgery. Faculty members participated in academic discussions and quizzes and senior faculty chaired scientific sessions reflecting strong leadership and mentorship. Postgraduate students actively presented papers and posters, showcasing their academic engagement. The conference brought accolades to SAIMS, with Dr. Shreya receiving the Best Paper Presentation Award and Dr. Rahul being recognized for Best PG Thesis Topic. MPASICON 2026 was a meaningful academic experience, reaffirming SAIMS commitment to excellence in surgical education and research.
