The Sri Aurobindo Institute of Law celebrated Advocate Day
Sri Aurobindo Institute of Law celebrated Advocate Day on 3rd December 2024 at Moot Court Hall, with an insightful guest lecture on the topic "Litigation as a Career: Scope & Opportunities". The event aimed to enlighten aspiring legal professionals on the challenges and opportunities in the field of litigation.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Rajiv Kumar Jain, Dean and Director of the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Law. Prof. Jain emphasized the importance of litigation as a cornerstone of the legal profession and encouraged students to explore its potential.
The guest speaker for the event, Adv. Kamal Nayan Airen, a distinguished advocate from the MP High Court, Bench at Indore, shared his profound knowledge and practical insights on the subject. He discussed the evolving scope of litigation in India, emphasizing its dynamic nature and the increasing demand for skilled litigators. Adv. Airen also highlighted key skills required for a successful career in litigation, including analytical thinking, oratory, research abilities, and resilience.
The lecture was attended by the students of B.A.LL.B (Hons.) and LL.B (Hons.) programs, who actively participated by asking questions and engaging in discussions. The session provided a platform for students to gain clarity about the litigation process, courtroom dynamics, and career prospects in this field.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Nagendra Chaturvedi, Assistant Professor, acknowledging the efforts of the guest speaker, faculty members, and students in making the program a success.
