SAIMS, Sri Aurobindo University, Indore celebrated World Physiology Week on 18th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and fervor. The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Vinod Bhandari, Chairman, SAU, Dr. Mahak Bhandari, Pro Chancellor, Dr. Mohit Bhandari, Director, Mohak Hitech, and Dr. Jayshree Tapadia, Dean of Student Welfare. The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of physiology in everyday life, and the role of physiologists in advancing healthcare. The ceremony was attended by faculty members, students, and staff, who all gathered to acknowledge the significance of physiology in the field of medicine. The highlight of the event, however, was the interactive game stalls organized by students, which tested participants' knowledge of physiology in a fun and engaging way. The student-organized game stalls were a huge hit, with participants enjoying the interactive and engaging activities. The stalls provided a unique opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and knowledge of physiology, while also promoting awareness about the importance of the subject. The event was a resounding success, with participants and attendees alike praising the efforts of the students and faculty members.
Sri Aurobindo University, Indore continued on the second day with a vibrant Rangoli competition. The event, held on November 19, 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from students. The competition theme was "Physiology through Art," participants were encouraged to create intricate designs and patterns representing various physiological concepts.
Dr Jayshree Tapadia, Dean of Student Welfare, judged the competition. They praised the participants' creativity and skill. The Rangoli competition was a unique blend of art and science, showcasing the talent and imagination of SAIMS students.
SAU celebrated the third day with a thrilling Quiz Competition on November 20, 2024. The event, organized by the Physiology Department, saw enthusiastic participation from students across various medical and paramedical courses.
The quiz, titled "PhysioQuest," tested participants' knowledge of human physiology, from basic concepts to advanced research. The competition was divided into two rounds: a preliminary written round and a final oral round. Teams of three students each showcased their expertise, answering challenging questions posed by the quizmasters.
At Last SAIMS, Sri Aurobindo University, Indore, successfully concluded celebrations with a grand Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony on 21st November. The event was graced by Dr. Jayshree Tapadia, Dean of Student Welfare, along with other esteemed dignitaries, The ceremony recognized the outstanding performances of students in various competitions, including the Quiz Competition, Rangoli Competition, and Fun Fair Competition. The winners were awarded certificates, trophies, and cash prizes. Dr. Jayshree Tapadia congratulated the winners, emphasizing the importance of physiology in healthcare and encouraging students to pursue careers in medical research.
