On October 21st, MBBS and BDS 1st-year students attended a pivotal session on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, led by Dr. Seema Alawa (Addl. DCP HQ Indore). The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr Jaishree Tapadia (Dean of Student Welfare) and Dr Kanteshwari I.K. (Principal of Dental College). They felicitated Dr. Alawa, acknowledging her valuable insights on recognizing, reporting, and preventing sexual harassment.
The session aimed to foster a culture of dignity, respect, and zero tolerance, ensuring a safer and more inclusive campus environment. Dr. Alawa emphasized recognizing and reporting sexual harassment and familiarising students with legal protections under the POSH Act.
