NABL Lab Accreditation Awareness Program at SAU
SAIMS Clinical & Molecular Laboratory organized “NABL Lab Accreditation Awareness Program” on 24/04/2024 at the auditorium of Sri Aurobindo University. The Guest speakers were Mr. Haribabu Aennampalli (Deputy Director – NABL) and Ms. Rozina (Assistant Director – NABL). The Training program was attended by more than 60 delegates from different hospitals of Indore.
The Program was inaugurated by Dr. Mahak Bhandari; Pro-chancellor SAU in the presence of Dr. Anand Mishra, Registrar, SAU, Dr. R.R. Wavare, Dean, SAMC & PGI. Lab Director and HOD Pathology Dr. Amit V. Varma welcomed speakers & delegates. Lab Head & Pathology Professor Dr. Kamal Malukani gave a vote of thanks.
The speakers gave an outline about the Medical Laboratory Accreditation Process, documentation & application process. They gave an overview of ISO 15189:2022 version with emphasis on changes compared to ISO 15189:2012. The basic process for NABL Accreditation of Medical Image / Radiology facilities was also discussed.
