The PCOS Awareness Seminar was conducted in SAU
The Madhya Pradesh chapter of the Indian Fertility Society has undertaken a unique initiative- ‘ Sukanya 50 in 50’ in order to raise awareness about polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) among girls and young women.
The PCOS Awareness Seminar under the mentorship of Dr Shilpa Bhandari, MP Chapter Executive of IFS, was conducted in SAIMS Nursing College, which was attended by 165 students, as well as, in a school in Indore, which was attended by 80 school girls.
Women make up 50 percent of our world and women today face numerous hormonal, health, and menstrual issues throughout their lifespan. This session helped to raise awareness among them regarding the same.
