SAU Indore organized an Anti-Ragging Orientation Program on April 29th 2023

The Anti-Ragging Committee of SACD, SAIMS Indore organized an Anti-Ragging Orientation Program on April 29th 2023 to educate students on the importance of anti-ragging and how to prevent it. The event was attended by Dr. Jyoti Bindal Ma'am, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Anand Mishra Sir, Registrar SAU, Dr. Kanteshwari I.K Ma'am, Principal, SACD, Dr. Anup Vyas Chairman Anti-Ragging Committee, Dr. Shraddha Jaiswal Secretary Anti-Ragging Committee and As part of the program, sessions were held for faculty members, students in order to create awareness and ensure a safe educational environment.

Dr. Ashok Khandelwal Honorable Vice- Chancellor MPMSU Jabalpur & EC Member DCI were given special honor's as the Chief Guest of this program as well as they were felicitated with a shawl and coconut along with ACP Mr. Dhairysheel Yewale Sir and Thana Prabandhak Banganga Mr. Rajendra Soni Sir were also Presented as the chief guests and felicitated with the flowers.

The oath-taking ceremony was aimed at ensuring that students were aware of the laws governing the prevention of ragging in universities, promoting a safe learning environment, and how to address complaints if they arose. It also provided tips on developing self-confidence, sensitizing peers on the issue, and sharing experiences and suggestions on how to ensure an incident-free campus.
The Vice-Chancellor also addressed the audience and reminded them of the hazardous effects of ragging on both physical and psychological well-being. He further reinforced the commitment of the university to its zero-tolerance policy on ragging. The topics covered by the program included understanding the concept of ragging and its far-reaching implications, identifying and reporting ragging acts, and what to do when faced with ragging.
