Inauguration ceremony of IHF Comprehensive Facial Defect Treatment Center at SAU

We are proud to announce that on 26th of April 2023, Sri Aurobindo University, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences Indore and Inga Health Foundation, Bangalore have joined hands today to launch IHF Comprehensive Facial Defect Treatment Center at SAIMS Supported by Rajratan Foundation.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Vinod Bhandari Sir Founder Chairman of University, Dr. Manjushree Bhandari Ma'am Chancellor of our University, Dr. Mohit Bhandari Sir, Dr. Mahak Bhandari Sir along with all the dignitaries was present and Also all veterans were honored with bouquets and Mementos.

It is estimated that approximately 60000 children are born with facial defects in India every year. With improvement of diagnostic and treatment facilities across the Indian subcontinent, the numbers are no longer as scary as they used to be around 5 decades ago.
However, for the treatment of facial defects apart from cleft lip and palate, parents still have to travel with their babies to bigger cities for treatment. This is often coupled with socio-the economic burden on families and the attached social stigma to these congenital defects. To fill this existent gap in providing comprehensive care to children born with not only cleft lip cleft palate but also to the children born with craniofacial deformities due to syndromes and anomalies across central India.
