Department of Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics is the pride of SAMC &PGI, Sri Aurobindo University. It takes complete care of health for all, from nascent (0 days) to adolescents. The department provides treatment of various ailments and diseases under one roof. It has a dedicated team of super specialists, senior consultants, junior residents and nursing staff who are devoted to their duties and are available 24X7. Out Department is well furnished with all the equipment’s, instruments, devices and state of the art laboratories required to tackle almost all diseases.

The department provides super specialties in the field of Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Care for high risk newborns, Hemat-oncology, Paediatric Orthopedics, Nephrology, Child Psychiatry and also provides Rehabilitation services for children with special needs in the form of Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy/Speech therapy/Behavioral therapy and so on. It has modern and well equipped PICU and NICU. The department has its own USG-ECHO machine, Endoscopy and EEG units.

Our department is not only well equipped and technically superior service provider but also leads the institute in academics for Under Graduates and Post Graduates in the form of various seminars, case presentations, Lectures as well as participation in National and International conference of faculties and postgraduates.

On social front we envisage the economic condition of the afflicted and accordingly consult and provide appropriate treatment. This gives our department an extra edge over other health institutions and therefore, we are referred by other well-known hospitals/Peripheral health centers of central India. We aim at proper treatment and optimum patient satisfaction.
