Department of Neurosurgery

The Neurosurgery Department at SRI AUROBINDO UNIVERSITY has brought laurels to this institution. State-of the art high-tech facilities such as MRI, Neuro-endoscopy, Skull base , Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery are available to patients at very affordable costs and being a recognized PG, and Superspeciality training center all surgeries are performed free of cost for needy and deserving.

The department has got recognition for 2 M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) students, sanctioned by the Medical Council of India. The department has all the requisite facilities to ensure comprehensive training of the Neurosurgical Residency Program. The department has one Neurosurgery unit comprising of a Professor and 2 Assistant Professors and a dedicated neuro rehabilitation unit.

The department conducts daily outpatient services, as well as daily elective surgeries in addition to providing 24×7 emergency services. The Professor & team of neurosurgeons provide thorough evaluations, diagnoses and treatments for brain and spinal cord diseases in children and adults. Here each patient is treated as a unique individual and treatment is tailored to be individual specific. We have compassion not only for the patients but also for the families who care for them.

We are fortunate to have excellent facilities and the most technologically advanced equipment which enables us treats the various neurosurgical diseases. On the top of this, the department has got some of the most experienced neurosurgeons. The results of this surgical experience have been presented in numerous professional forums which include many scientific publications, abstracts and presentations at national and international conferences.
