Virtual Tour Department of Anatomy
The vision of the Anatomy department is to create a center of excellence for teaching, research in anatomy and body donation services. We inculcate in our students a sense of wonder at the beauty of the human body and values of respect for the cadaver.
Departmental objectives
- To provide health science (Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, nursing and other paramedical) students with clinically relevant knowledge of the structure of the human body using various innovative interactive teaching and learning methods.
- To carry out high quality research in clinical anatomy, neuro-anatomy, histology, genetics and medical education with inter departmental collaboration.
- To provide efficient and effective embalming services.
- To motivate and counsel voluntary body donors.
