About Us

At Sri Aurobindo Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, the study is creative, critical and radical. We explore media through hands-on experience of professional and experimental media-making and through a range of social, philosophical, ethical, psychological and technological perspectives – from the global arrangements of the world to the intimate construction of identity.
At SAIJMC creative practice brings together a range of creative disciplines, encouraging collaboration that’s reflective of the real-world creative industries. Our courses provide you with a space to create, networking opportunities, and the opportunity to explore the future of professional creative practice with curiosity and courage.

At SAIJMC you will develop new skills in Social Media, Gaming Techniques, Animation, VFX, Multimedia, Advertising, Public Relation, Journalism, Electronic Media and Visualisation, all the while investigating how constantly evolving technologies disrupt various industries. The courses at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication are designed to develop critical understanding among the students towards the role that media and technologies play in communication and society. Specifically, it presents students with intellectually challenging and innovative instruction in key traditions of Communication and Media Studies and new theoretical and methodical

approaches to the social life of technologies and the historical development and transformation of media and communication forms. We follow a contemporary course curriculum which is in sync with the needs of the Industry and hence plays a vital role in ensuring student employability. The curriculum is aligned with the career needs of students and is focused on empowering the students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in a dynamic and competitive world.
